Job Description: Collection Manager is an experience intelligence collection lead that evaluates intelligence value and relevance as well as identifies collection gaps. Advises decision makers on assets, technical solutions, intelligence policy, and resource allocation. Supports HUMINT, CI, and Open Source Intelligence activities. Documents intelligence needs, collection methods, reports, artifacts, and deliverables. Mentors mid-level and junior staff.
Duties include:

Strong computer, research, and report-writing skills required in order to carry out searches, maintain communication with colleagues, and present findings to the appropriate parties

Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills will be important to accomplish the duties

Responsible for perusing and making sense of large amounts of data, which involves analyses such as history and statistics

All information acquired should be classified and kept confidential as necessary

Familiar with necessary analyst tools and automated systems like databases, imagery analysis, and signal intelligence
Requirements:

MA/MS with 8+ years’ experience or BA/BS with 10+ years’ experience or AA/AS with 16+ years’ experience

Master’s degree preferred

Additional 4 years’ of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 8 additional years of additional experience can be substituted for a Master’s degree

Extensive experience performing intelligence collection activities leveraging various collection methods and approaches

Significant experience supporting HUMINT, CI, and Open Source intelligence activities

Minimum 10 years of experience in collection management

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security)
