Job Description: Collection Manager assists with intelligence collection activities by supporting higher level collection managers with evaluating intelligence value and relevance as well as identifying any collection gaps. Assists with documenting intelligence needs, collection methods, reports, artifacts, and deliverables.
Duties include:

Strong computer, research, and report-writing skills in order to carry out searches, maintain communication with colleagues, and present findings to the appropriate parties

Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills will be important to accomplish the duties

Responsible for perusing and making sense of large amounts of data, which involves analyses such as history and statistics

All information acquired should be classified and kept confidential as necessary

Familiar with necessary analyst tools and automated systems like databases, imagery analysis, and signal intelligence
Requirements:

BA/BS with 0-4 years’ experience or AA/AS with 6-8 years’ experience

Additional 4 years’ of experience can be substituted for a degree

Experienced with intelligence collection activities, methods, & approaches

Familiar with elements of HUMINT, CI, and Open Source intelligence

Minimum 3 years’ of experience in collection management
Desired:

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
