Job Description: This position will support INSCOM (Army Intelligence & Security Command) providing critical service to meet INSCOM’s operational and intelligence needs. INSCOM constantly pursues emerging capability and functionality to solve complex integrated solution through the usage of Cloud-Computing-Enabled Advanced Analytics, and Multi-Level Secure Data storage for the Distributed Processing Exploitation Dissemination (PED) program. This position will focus on providing support to the Security Engineering and IA Management.
Duties include:

Provide technical oversight of work performed by junior engineers

Sustain cloud and hardware environments
-
Lead evaluations of emerging technologies
-
Provide technical expertise for software performance test plan design and test scenarios for functional security testing

Use security assessment and analysis tools
-
Employing test methodologies
-
Implement and use common operating system, antivirus products, network and security services and applications

Conduct penetration testing and report findings

Install/configure Windows and Linux operating system, install and provision networks, conduct basic network audit and analysis, utilize command line interfaces for both Windows and Linux operating systems as well as for network management devices
Requirements:

MS in Engineer with at least 15 years’ experience OR BS in Engineering with 20 years’ experience

Three (3) years’ experience sustaining cloud environments, sustaining hardware environments, and leading evaluations of current or emerging technologies

Five (5) years’ experience providing technical oversight of work by junior engineers, providing technical expertise for software performance test plan design, test scenarios for functional security testing, employing test methodologies (three or more of the following: demonstration, testing, inspection, analysis, black box testing, gray box testing, or white box testing), and conducting penetration testing

Six (6) years’ experience using security assessment/analysis tools

Seven (7) years’ experience working with networking protocols, implementing antivirus products, network and security services and applications, installing/configuring Windows and Linux operating system, conducting basic network audit and analysis, and utilizing the command line interfaces for the Windows and Linux operating systems as well as for the network management devices

Must have current DoD Approved Baseline Certification at IAT Level II (OR Higher in Technical Exhibit 5)

IAT Level II: CCNA-Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP

Higher (IAT Level III): CASP CE, CCNP-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
