Job Description: In support of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Geospatial Proposal, this position will provide day-to-day consulting and management for the contract by implementing geospatial information technology solutions as part of a large team (5-10 people) and/or serves as a small team lead (3-4 people). The Geospatial Analyst will work with senior consulting and technical staff to design work plans that define project deliverables, milestones and schedules. The qualified candidate will work with company staff to ensure progress and financial reporting is provided per contract requirements as well as manage the delivery of projects. Tasks that may be assigned to this position may include, but not limited to:

Duties include:

Conduct requirements interviews

Documents application requirements

Managing small team work efforts utilizing industry standards and methodologies (i.e. Agile Scrum process, Waterfall, etc.)

Provide tactical recommendations to government in order to affect improvements in processes, deliverables, and outcomes

Requirements:

Requires a MA/MS with 3+ years' of specialized experience, BA/BS with 5+ years' of specialized experience, or 9+ years' of experience in lieu of a degree
